Customer Reviews from Medway, Swale & Kent Homeowners

“We couldn't be happier with our experience with Dave & the boys at D&A. We sort of knew what we wanted for our driveway & when Dave came out he put his tweaks on it regarding drainage which we hadn't even thought about. The whole job was completed in four days & everything ran extremely smoothly. The finished drive has exceeded our expectations & Daves idea for raising it up & putting in the drainage was spot on. Dave & his team are an excellent outfit & really nice lads to boot. We will definitely be using them again for anything else that we need doing”

“10/10, from first contact to end product. Dave was the only contractor I had round to quote who actually listened to what I requested and understood what I was looking for, as well as being very personable. The pricing was good and as I was flexible with timing I didn't mind waiting to be fit in. I was only initially going to have one part of my garden patioed but once that part was complete I decided to go ahead with the rest as the job was done so well. Joe & Cody are a credit to the company and if I had any garden left to patio these guys would be back again!”

“This is the 3rd time we have used D&A and we would highly recommend them. We have recommended them to all our friends and every one of them have been impressed with their work in every way. They are friendly, courteous, punctual and do a great job. Nothing is too much trouble and Dave will give you advice on the best thing to do. “From the initial visit, through to the completion of the project, Dave and teammate were exemplary, I cannot recommend them highly enough. We live in a small close with shared access, and they were always very friendly to our neighbours. Dave ensured there was minimal disruption, going above and beyond and even repairing the front path of the property next door as a gesture of good will. The transformation from a grassy and muddy plot and dangerous front step to a paved parking area is truly remarkable. Their level of workmanship is superb, and I will definitely have them back again.”

But they took it all in their stride and not only does the drive look brilliant, but I also have a border for flowers thanks to Dave's genius thinking! Our patio areas and pathway looks amazing and the different colours in the sandstone slabs pull the whole garden together. “I used this company because they had completed my daughters driveway and they did not disappoint. Nothing was too much trouble, they were professional, knowledgeable and created a beautiful bespoke driveway to match my idea. They went above and beyond at every stage and the end result is fantastic! I cannot thank Dave and Joe enough.”

“If the scores would allow me to put 11 I would. Dave and Joe have just left after transforming our patio! We are absolutely delighted with the result and couldn't have asked for a better team of people to do it! Dave and Joe were courteous, tidy and considerate. I would not hesitate to recommend them!”

“We originally had hedges dividing our garden from the neighbours, Dave single handedly removed all of these. Once the hedges were removed it was clear there were a few obstacles (trees) that were going to make the new fence line challenging. However Dave wasn't phased by this in the slightest and cracked on, creatively building the tree into the fencing in a way that looked natural. The fencing looks amazing, we are extremely pleased with it. Dave also ensured that the neighbours side looked good. We would highly recommend D&A contractors and we will be getting them back soon for a patio.”

“I can't recommend this company highly enough! After using them to do our driveway 2 years ago we knew exactly who to go to for a new patio. Dave and Joe are SUCH hard workers, friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, approachable and tidy in their work. When a problem was found with the drain and pipework, they sorted it easily at no extra cost. The finished patio looks absolutely amazing, finished to a really high standard and we can't wait to start using it. If you want a professional job at a great price, then I 100% recommend D&A Contractors!”

“Dave and Joe were recommended by a friend who they recently carried out some work for. From the initial meeting and throughout the whole project they were really helpful and polite. They introduced themselves to the neighbours who commented on how good they were! The quality of work is first class! And as a result we are getting them to do the driveway, and one of the neighbours is too! Thanks guys??”

“Quotes for two jobs given within 24 hours, work was finished on time, no fuss, very efficient and superb finish. Both tradesmen were very friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would recommend these two gentlemen without hesitation to anyone who wants a thorough professional job done at competetive rates, and will certainly be contacting them again when I have to sort out my garden and patio plans!”

“Having looked through all the companies on Check a Trade, the one that really stood out among the others was D&A Contrators, based on the number of positive reviews Having contacted them I was given a quote the same day based on photos I supplied, which was very reasonable. The workman who put up the fence was always on time every day and worked extremely hard, even in adverse weather conditions. He was also extremely polite and answered all my questions. The quality of the work is excellent and really everything I could have hoped for. I am really pleased and would use again.”

“Excellent work very respectful of my property and family very clean and tidy I would recommend them to anyone”

“Fantastic job well done, lovely guys. Would highly recommend”

“Really happy with this job. We needed all new fencing and gravel boards, it took him a day and a half but the end result is brilliant. It's not been this neat and level since we moved in. And they took extra time to board up a section they hadn't quoted for, so it was fully secure for our dog. Can't have been an easy job, especially with the weather. Showed respect for our property, brought all the tools and materials around the back which isn't particularly accessible. I hope we don't need to replace the fencing anytime soon but would definitely recommend and use them again.”

“These jobs were done as 3 separate jobs between last October 2018 and November 2019. Each time the guys went over and above what I'd expected, they took great pride in their work and finished everything to a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending them highly.”
